Terms of Service
Effective date: March 1, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using NorthSeat, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the platform. These terms apply to all users: diners, restaurant partners, and staff members.
2. What NorthSeat Provides
NorthSeat is a restaurant reservation and operations platform. Diners can browse restaurants, make reservations, and manage bookings. Restaurant partners can manage reservations, tables, menus, staff, and guest relationships through the dashboard.
3. Your Account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Provide accurate information when creating an account. Restaurant accounts can have multiple staff users with different permission levels, configured by the account owner.
4. Acceptable Use
Don't misuse NorthSeat. This includes making fraudulent reservations, attempting to disrupt the platform, scraping data without permission, impersonating other users, or using the service for anything unlawful.
5. Intellectual Property
NorthSeat's design, code, logos, and documentation are owned by NorthSeat Inc. and protected by intellectual property law. Restaurant partners retain full ownership of their own content — menus, photos, and branding — uploaded to the platform.
6. Limitation of Liability
NorthSeat is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of the platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
7. Cancellation
Either party can end the relationship at any time. Restaurant partners cancel from the dashboard settings. We keep your data for 30 days after cancellation for reactivation. After 30 days, data is permanently deleted on request.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by California law. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
